The Apartment Nortra, Kobarid, dated back to 1995. When a team of friendly, young and experienced enthusiasts has been working in the Tolmin area decided to set up their own health studio, with a health related grocery store. Their business expanded in 1997 with production of candles. In 2000, they added catering to their business profile, furthermore, in 2006, they focused mainly in tourism and wellness.

Kobarid is known for the 1917 Battle of Caporetto, where the Italian retreat was documented by Ernest Hemingway in his novel A Farewell to Arms. The battle is well documented in the museum in the centre of Kobarid. Its a great visiting place.
